BallStars Helps Commemorate University of Texas Football Win
Whether it’s the Super Bowl or a city or state championship, BallStars offers the perfect product to allow team members and fans to have a memento of their team’s accomplishment.
A great example is the recent National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Football Championship. The University of Texas Longhorns claimed victory in the last 19 seconds of the game with quarterback Vince Young scoring the winning touchdown. Young, an immensely popular player, was narrowly beaten out by Reggie Bush of the University of Southern California for the Heisman Trophy one month earlier.
To commemorate the Texas team’s win, the Longhorns' first outright national title since 1969, the university bookstore is offering a wide range of merchandise including caps, jackets, and T-shirts. But the centerpiece souvenir was a BallStars’ football with Vince Young’s photo and career stats. The ball, which is autographed by Vince Young, was offered as a limited edition. The initial order from the University Co-Op was for 2,500 balls that sold out at $199 a piece. A second ball without an autograph also was created for in-store sales and 2,500 balls were created for that.
While not many people get a chance to capitalize on a national championship, to parents, friends, and family, their child’s winning season is just as important. With BallStars’ photo transfer ball system you can create a sample championship ball that you can display to customers when a local or regional team wins. BallStars manufactures an exclusive system for creating photo transfers that can be heat pressed onto 28 styles of sports balls and ornaments.
